I enjoy pencil work and sometimes turn a sketch into a detailed drawing, depending on the subject. I often sketch in pencil under a watercolour, as the marks can be lifted off the paper with a putty rubber without removing any paint.

I prefer to use HB and 2B pencils but occasionally use graphite.
